I am a costume designer and maker based in the DC area.  I am interested in how dress can exist as a language capable of expressing identity and heritage across time and culture.
In my work I hope to explore clothing's inherent potential as an art, a craft, a form of personal ritual and honored custom, and how this can be used to aid in storytelling of all kinds.
