I am a Boston-based educator and costume designer for Opera, Theatre and Dance. With a background in art history & research and over 13 years in the world of costume-making and design, I seek to explore the explicit and implicit ways that clothing -- as an art, a craft and a form of personal ritual and custom -- can be used to serve storytelling of all kinds.  Above all, I am a committed educator who is interested in contributing to an expansion of the costuming industry to include a greater range of under-represented voices and artistic perspectives.
